An Autism-Friendly Cinema Screening!

Odeon Cinema is hosting an autism-friendly screenings of 'Mr Popper's Penguins' (starring Jim Carrey) at the Odeon Cinema in Norwich.

The screening will take place at 11am on Thursday 11th August.

During the screening, the lights will be turned on, on a low setting; the volume will be lower than usual; families are able to take their own food and drinks into the cinema with them; and people are free to move around the cinema if needed during the film.

Tickets will be going on sale on the 2nd August, and can be bought as normal from the cinema itself or online through the Odeon website.

Support workers/carers can attend for free with a CEA card. To find out more about the CEA card and how to get one, click here.

If enough people attend on 11th August, Odeon Cinemas hope to continue to provide this service each month.

So why not take your kids along!
